Dina Wind Art In Situ Social Media Photo Contest Announcement
ART IN SITU: A SOCIAL MEDIA PHOTO CONTEST
In conjunction with the Woodmere Art Museum’s October 14th Nature and Public Sculpture Panel Discussion, the Dina Wind Art Foundation is pleased to present a photo contest on Facebook and Instagram. The theme of “Art In Situ” is meant to inspire visitors of the museum to capture one of Dina Wind’s sculptures on site and demonstrate how it interacts with or has been enhanced by the environment in which it is installed. For example, one might juxtapose the manmade elements of the monumental “Spring & Triangle” with the surrounding trees and lawn or capture viewers engaging with one of her other works of art on display. We encourage broad interpretations of the theme and look forward to reviewing your submissions!
-Take a photograph of one of Dina Wind’s sculptures currently on display at Woodmere and upload it to your social media profile on either Facebook or Instagram.
-Enter the contest by using the hashtag #dwinsitu and mention or tag @Dina.Wind.Art in your post.
-Photos must be submitted by October 15th, 2017 11:59pm for judging and the winner will be announced the following Friday the 20th during the panel event.
-Winners will be contacted via their social media profile and announced on the @Dina.Wind.Art Instagram and Facebook pages.
